I started a gratitude journal, and I can already see the benefit for making it a daily practice. I’m often grateful for my body and my ability to connect to their needs. Mentally connecting with your body isn’t a given just because you have one. It takes practice, patience, and curiosity. And guess what? Everyone is capable of finding this connection.
This week’s themes are all about finding and developing that brain-body-brain connection that can help to serve us in new, meaningful ways.
Monday 6/20 12PM with Destinie:
What can you feel and why does it matter? In today’s class we’ll begin with a supine body scan void of vision and touch. Give yourself permission to “go into” your body and you may just notice that your following movements take on more purpose and depth.

You cannot change what you do not feel. Today we’ll use lots of imagery to help you feel and mentally paint a picture your ideal alignment. We’ll start with an image of movement to stimulate your nervous system, a process called IdeoKinesis, and feel how imagery can improve your experience in movement.
