March is a busy month. March 6th is National Dentist’s Day, but ironically is also National Oreo Cookie day. We have St. Patrick’s Day on the 17th, plus the first day of spring on the 20th. But what March is best known for is March Madness–an event so popular and distracting that the economic effects on corporate America are literally palpable.
Well, lucky for you, the Pilates world wanted to give collegiate basketball a run for its money and came up with MARCH MATNESS.
Our theme this month is all about the classical, oh-so-refined, mat. Check-out this intermediate order for a reference.
What you can expect from March Matness:
- Classes are taught at tempo, which means March’s classes emphasize the Pilates principle of flow
- We’re sticking to the intermediate order, but all levels are welcome! Go ahead and download the copy of the order in this email
- Less explaining, more moving
- Forecast calls for internal showers
Monday, March 6th @12PM with Nicole:
Watch the preview before the show! Today is all about speaking to the choreography and emphasizing when to inhale and exhale to maximize the benefit of each exercise. Let’s get physical.
Wednesday, March 8th @ 8AM with Destinie:
Grab Bag! Are you an 8AM-er reading this newsletter thinking, “Geez, I wish Wednesday 8 AM can do classical mat order, too!” Just make the request before class and consider it done!
